Admission Requirements
Eligibility for admission to the BS MS 4+1 blended program is separate from standard graduate program applications. The application is internal to the CSUEB KIN Department and is evaluated based on undergraduate work completed and the concentration applied for by the student. --All CSUEB KIN Majors are eligible to apply for the blended program if they have a minimum of 60 units and no more than 90 units towards the KIN BS degree. To be eligible to apply, students must also currently carry at least a 3.00 GPA in all college work. HMSS CONCENTRATION: Application to HMSS assumes the student to have demonstrated strong performance (B or higher) in physical and natural sciences courses and be able to articulate their professional aspirations in alignment with that MS concentration. IPPAP CONCENTRATION: Students applying to the IPPAP concentration are expected to have demonstrated broad knowledge across KIN courses completed (B or better), a commitment to social justice in physical activity, and be able to articulate how this MS concentration aligns with professional aspirations. The graduate coordinator in consultation with appropriate KIN faculty will determine the fit of students to the blended program and the concentration of their choice.

Transfer students must have completed one full-time semester in residency at CSUEB. Generally speaking, only native CSUEB ANTH BA students and Fall semester transfers will be eligible for the blended 4 + 1 degree. Spring semester ANTH transfers will be ineligible to apply in their first semester at CSUEB. Admission Requirements
History undergraduates are eligible to apply for the blended BA/MA program during the Spring semester of their junior year if they have fulfilled the following requirements: 1. Completed a minimum of 60 units but no more than 90 units towards the BA degree; 2. Earned a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better, or a GPA of 3.0 or better in both of the prior two semesters before application to the blended program; 3. Completed all lower-division GE requirements. 4. Transfer students must have completed one full-time semester in residency at CSUEB. Generally speaking, only native CSUEB HIST BA students and Fall semester transfers will be eligible for the blended 4 + 1 degree. Spring semester transfers will be ineligible to apply in their first semester at CSUEB. A brief application statement will be due on March 1, in the spring semester before starting the blended degree. An application guide will be available on the Department of History website.

Admission Requirements
Admission Requirements Eligibility: Current enrollment in the Bachelor of Arts in Music program at CSU 糖心Vlogy. Students are eligible after completing 60 units and no more than 90 units, including completion of lower-division core music coursework (15 units), and lower-division general education requirements. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 in music courses, demonstrating academic proficiency.
Application Process: Students apply to the blended program by January 15th of their junior year (between semesters 5 and 6). The application includes:
- Statement of Purpose: A one- to two-page document outlining the student's objectives for pursuing the blended BA/MA program, discussing academic and musical goals, and explaining how the program aligns with long-term aspirations.
- Faculty Recommendations: Two letters of recommendation from Music Department faculty who can assess the student's readiness for graduate-level study based on academic performance and musical abilities.
- Evidence of Abilities: Performance (Classical/Jazz): An audition or submission of recordings demonstrating proficiency in the chosen instrument or vocal performance. Choral Conducting: A demonstration of conducting skills, such as a video recording of a rehearsal or performance. Composition: Submission of original compositions or portfolios showcasing compositional skill semester.
